Why inclusive and quality education is important for all

Watch as a United Nations video explains how we can continue to take action to make positive change

Quality education is a right. For many around the world, it’s a pathway out of poverty and a stepping stone to building a brighter future. It’s why we like this YouTube video, by the United Nations (UN), explaining why quality education matters and how we can help bring it to more children.

“A quality education promotes equality and more peaceful societies,” notes the UN video. During the past decade, progress has been made in making education more accessible. Sadly, the UN reports, the COVID-19 pandemic has potentially “wiped out 20 years of educational gains.”

Around the world, many students continue to be affected by school closures and learning loss, but there is hope. At Children Believe, we work with our country partners and staff to ensure children have access to their basic needs and that the proper precautions are in place so they can access quality education.

Give a gift today and help children continue to access quality education.

About Children Believe

Children Believe works globally to empower children to dream fearlessly, stand up for what they believe in — and be heard. For 60+ years, we’ve brought together brave young dreamers, caring supporters and partners, and unabashed idealists. Together, we’re driven by a common belief: creating access to education — inside and outside of classrooms — is the most powerful tool children can use to change their world.

About Childfund Alliance

A member of ChildFund Alliance, Children Believe is part of a global network of child-focused development organizations working to create opportunities for children and youth, their families and communities. ChildFund helps nearly 23-million children and their families in 70 countries overcome poverty and underlying conditions that prevent children from achieving their full potential. We work to end violence against children; provide expertise in emergencies and disasters to ease the harmful impact on children and their communities; and engage children and youth to create lasting change and elevate their voices in decisions that affect their lives.
