Virtual Race

Team Believe runners have the opportunity to join the race virtually! Join Team Believe and choose to walk/run the race virtually between: October 1-31, 2024. Participants can select the 5K, half-marathon or marathon and will be able to upload their times once they have completed their race on Runkeeper Go™.

TCS Charity Challenge

The challenge provides runners with a unique opportunity to support local charities. Join Team Believe, and sign up to run the 5K (Oct. 19), half-marathon and marathon (Oct. 20) or virtual race in the TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon. The only requirement to secure your spot on Team Believe is to make a fundraising commitment which helps fund our programs supporting children around the world overcome barriers and access education so they can be a voice for change.

Commitments:

  • $1000 - Full Marathon
  • $500 - Half Marathon
  • $250 - 5K
  • $300 - Virtual Race

Click the button below to request an application form. Once approved, you will be given a charity code to use during registration. To be an official charity runner, you must complete our team application before registering for the race.

Already have a spot? You can still join the team, and receive the perks listed above. We ask you to make a fundraising commitment of $200, and complete an application form.

Team Believe raises $14,000 in 2023

On October 15th, 20 fearless Team Believe Runners crossed the finish line in the 2023 TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon! They raised over $14,000 to support children around the world in overcoming barriers and accessing education.

Thank you, Team Believe runners, for all of your hard work, fantastic dedication, and for joining us on this inspiring journey. When we come together, we can bring about positive change in the lives of those who need it most.

In 2021, participants raised more than $3.08 million much-needed funds for 151 official charity partners. In fact, since the TCS Charity Challenge began in 2003, more than $48 million has been raised. The runners’ commitment to fundraising has made a significant impact in communities.

One hundred percent of all donations raised by Team Believe will benefit Children Believe, supporting children around the world break barriers to access education so they can be a voice for change.

Proceeds from this event will help break barriers to creating healthy, educated and empowered communities. You’ll be helping children access knowledge, training and opportunities to raise their voices and make positive change.

You’ll provide life essentials: clean water, healthy food and safe places to grow and play. And, you’ll support the greatest tool we have in our global movement for change.
