We believe children should be empowered to know their rights and speak up to make a difference in their communities, creating positive lasting change, as noted in the video below.
“It’s time for intergenerational dialogue and co-leadership. It’s time for young governments. It’s time for young women empowerment. We must work together and co-create with youth, especially young women,” says Aya Chebbi, a Pan-African activist and African Union Special Envoy on Youth.
At Children Believe, we provide economic and leadership opportunities so women and other vulnerable young adults can champion change. We do that by including children in planning, designing, monitoring and evaluating our programs. We also include them in government meetings, councils and forums, among other initiatives.
Watch the video below to see why our work does so much more than shape the life of one child.
