Encouraging children to believe they can reach their dreams

Watch a child offer motivation for success through failure

A big part of our work is giving children the tools and resources to go to school and believe their dreams will come true. Part of that process is encouraging success, as shown in the video below.

The star of the video, a boy from Tamilnadu, India, a community where we happen to work, already understands failure breeds success. “You may face failure in a class test, running race, daily routine or anything…. But, friends, don’t be afraid to fail…. Failure is a part of success,” he says.

At Children Believe, we support thriving communities, advance child rights and protection, promote equality for girls and partner with children for change so they’re empowered to change their lives for the better. What’s more, the sponsor-child connection through letters can provide the encouragement children need to succeed.

Watch the video below to see how positive support makes an impact.

About Children Believe

Children Believe works globally to empower children to dream fearlessly, stand up for what they believe in — and be heard. For 60+ years, we’ve brought together brave young dreamers, caring supporters and partners, and unabashed idealists. Together, we’re driven by a common belief: creating access to education — inside and outside of classrooms — is the most powerful tool children can use to change their world.
