What are a child’s rights, and why are they so important?

Watch this video for a greater understanding of how to keep children safe

A big part of what we do helping children in need around the world is making sure their rights are met now and in the future.

The UNICEF Australia video below explains what that all means. “Every child around the world has the right to live a safe, healthy life no matter who they are, where they grew up, what they believe or anything like that,” says a child in the cartoon short.

At Christian Children’s Fund of Canada, we break down barriers keeping children out of school and teach them about their rights, so their life and the lives of their kid’s kids will be better.

Watch the video below to learn more about why it’s so important children’s rights are met no matter where they live.

About Children Believe

Children Believe works globally to empower children to dream fearlessly, stand up for what they believe in — and be heard. For 60+ years, we’ve brought together brave young dreamers, caring supporters and partners, and unabashed idealists. Together, we’re driven by a common belief: creating access to education — inside and outside of classrooms — is the most powerful tool children can use to change their world.
